    Thesis Abstract

My thesis study aims to make the lives of objects more meaningful for their users through evolving experiences and the appreciation of the living process.

I believe that the user can be a part of the design process witnessing and participating in the evolution of the product, which would conform to the different patterns of life creating more meaning for and deeper emotional attachment from the user.

The course of an object’s life changes as it evolves in the hands of the user. Together, they write a mutual story.

Using the nature of the material (wool felt) and providing a space for them to evolve and grow create an engaging experience for the user. With foot being one of the most active body parts, I’ve focused my efforts on designing shoes that can give valuable insights and conclusions in my research on material behaviors in the shortest amount of time.
