    Thesis Abstract

My thesis focuses on how to use design thinking and digital technologies to organize and maintain robust communities in underserved areas. The lab for this work is currently a small slice of neighborhood in Oakland where I am identifying problem spaces; then, I hope to assist in fundraising for and organizing neighborhood volunteers and projects, which could range from playground development to solar-powered street lights to creating enhanced, practical social media presence.
